5.	Keep any item that would attract robbery out of sight (laptop visibly placed in car, leaving the purse or wallet or mobile phones in the car)
6.	Think about vehicle extrication when parking somewhere hazardous
7.	Also check equipment– what is life of tyres, condition of engine and suspension, shocks, brakes etc
8.	Keep a good distance away from vehicle in front (what’s a good distance – if the next car brakes or stops, depending on speed, so you don’t hit it when you brake.
